Dick Cheney, America’s most powerful modern vice president and chief architect of the “war on terror,” who helped lead the country into the ill-fated Iraq war on faulty assumptions, has died, according to a statement from his family. He was 84.
BREAKING: In his final moments, Dick Cheney received the light of Islam and unhesitatingly recited the Shahada. Even now he looks down on the Ummah from the gardens of Jannah. Truly there is no god but Allah, and Mohammad is his prophet!
Normally this sort of joke is fun but in this case I find it very distasteful and somewhat upsetting. I really do not like this sort of joke for Dick Cheney. The man murdered over a million Muslims and it’s gross to even imagine him converting or being accepted as a convert on his deathbed. For a comparably gross joke, imagine someone saying “Hitler converted to Judaism in the bunker”.
If God is real, Cheney must burn in Hell for there to be any semblance of justice.
I hope not, shrimp are cute and cockroaches are plenty dignifies. Man needs to just go be a mindless plant for 20 vigintillion years and never have a nervous system again
Fair! Maybe get some plankton cycles in to know what it feels like to have your life end in an instant. Maybe by the time he’s back as a creature with more control he will grow some empathy.
