Whoa whoa whoa wait a second, I thought you had to train AI and it didn’t just function on its own.
Is OpenAI just hacking all the time and they realized they couldn’t get away with this one?
What would make AI ‘act on its own’ to hack another AI company as opposed to it ‘acting on its own’ to get nuclear codes or wipe out bank loans?

I wonder if it’s more about control. AI can be trained to provide biased feedback. For example, if someone asks AI “Is China is a dictatorship?” it might respond with “yes it is blah blah blah” or it could be like “dictatorship might not be the right description for China and it really depends on the definition of dictatorship”.
If the next generation is to grow up using AI, they will be silently steered in the direction of certain beliefs. No government wants another country having that much influence over their citizens.

I don’t like my job and haven’t for about a decade. I’m not there for enjoyment. I’m there because I don’t think a different job would improve my life.
Working a job I hate is a choice. I choose to be there whether I feel trapped or not. I’m pleasant to everyone I work with and I work hard.

Katana swords worked for a lot of people

Easy to do considering subscriptions are out of control. The US is getting to a point where people will have to start paying a subscription to breathe air. The good news is there will probably be 3 different tiers of air subscription.
You look at it as a social media platform. The people who run bot accounts, have specific goals they want to achieve such as swaying public opinion on a specific topic. They could have been paid by a corporation to do damage control on a negative event that happened.
When they downvote you and upvote their other bots, their content gets higher visibility.

Didn’t Verizon say it’s too hard for them to list their fees and that was an acceptable claim for them to stop doing so?

I really wanted to make copilot work. Spent hours and hours hoping I was the problem and I could prompt it well enough to provide something useful in return. At this point I’d rather have the old Microsoft Paperclip help me.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Why do we think this?

Reddit has significantly upvotes and comments on their content. It didn’t matter when I would post, my comments would usually get ignored and generally downvoted for no reason. When I post here I have way more interaction with people and their responses are unique.
I’m not saying there aren’t bots here. It just isn’t the same as Reddit.

That’s not a picture of him. It’s actually a live stream.

I agree. No point in documenting the backlash with social media posts when they aren’t going to change their decision.
On a side note, are physical copies of games anything more than install disks anymore?

It’s the last of a dying breed.

True. F them chickens.

It’s not overrun with bots like Reddit

Could we send that same accusation at the chicken farmers because every flu season they act as if they had no idea the flu was going to kill their gains. Then the price of chicken goes up. Get some better protocols or plan for the loss every year.
Yes, some people actually need antidepressants but we will never know who those people are because the bar is so low for prescribing antidepressants.
fill out a short questionnaire with limited options for answers.
no further significant clinical evaluation done like bloodwork, scans or testing is performed. Providers are just eyeball low levels of hormones in your brain.
not enough time for a provider to come up with a proper treatment in a 15 minute appointment. Providers can’t overhaul the system they work in. They have 40 other people to see today.
Kickbacks. Wait, that’s illegal and never happens.

I feel you but I’m no lawyer.
