Ich habe so ein bisschen den Eindruck, dass dieses strikte Einordnen-wollen von Themen in Communities eine Art Relikt aus der “Foren-Zeit” ist.

Aber bei der überschaulichen Anzahl der Beiträge finde ich das absolut fehl am Platz. Denn dann wird halt an 3 Stellen unabhängig voneinander diskutiert, weil ein Thema für mehrere - aber leere - Communities relevant ist. Und dann kriegt man über den “lokal”-Feed vielleicht einen dieser Posts zu sehen. Vielleicht auch alle 3 oder keinen.
Und wenn man dann nicht auf feddit.org ansässig ist, kriegt man es als nicht-Abonnent dieser Communities nur mit, wenn ein Beitrag richtig stark diskutiert wird.

Im Moment wäre es vielleicht nicht schlecht, wenn es irgendeine Art von Tags oder sowas für Posts gäbe. Dann könnten die Leute vllt Uninteressantes herausfiltern, es wäre aber nicht alles so verdammt fragmentiert.

On the peri-website, there are some numbers relating to printing-speed, layer-thickness and -width and setup-times (english / german). With those one could calculate approximately how long it could take to print a certain building in optimal conditions.

More than that you will probably not get out of them.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t really find more information. All results of a web search about this project in this state seem to be the same press statement almost copied verbatim.

My comment was no dig at you for choosing that article. 3d-printing is kind of interesting and with the scale of printers needed here, there will not be a lot of independent information very soon.

But I’m glad there is some public focus on construction methods, even if the “recent” developments in construction that I personally think are good for future-proofing the industry and reducing CO2-emissions (like increased use of prefabrication even on smaller scales and more use of wood on larger scales (e.g. cross-laminated-timber) are not that “interesting” to the public.

Das wäre ja auch ein Übermorgen-Problem. Wo bleibt da die Wertschöpfung von heute?

Hatte bis letzte Woche zwar keine Grippe sondern eine schwere Erkältung und stand dann (mit Maske) in der Apotheke, um etwas Abmilderung zu kaufen.

Vor mir in der Schlange wild hustend und schniefend: Ein Paar mit dem gleichen Anliegen, aber ohne Masken. Sind die Leute echt so dämlich?

An der Stelle der Apothekerin hätte ich die ja “rausgeschmissen”, aber irgendwie schien das gar kein Thema zu sein. Ich verstehe es nicht.

As a civil engineer I see the whole 3d-printing-buildings-thing mostly as a gimmick and a way to grab some research-money to co-finance your building. At least at the moment.

In this case they still added timber-framing above the concrete walls and as interior walls and roof, so one couls ask why they wouldn’t build the whole walls as timber frame. That would be faster for sure.

But of course not every building has to be built fast or cheap. There are other valid criteria…

And it’s ok to try to find new ways to build walls - even if thats a part of construction that can be done quite fast & efficient already via prefabricating.

Concerning the article:

The author seem to have taken the press-statement from the 3d-printing-company and subtracted some pictures and the metric units.
Without transparency about costs per m² compared to other construction methods it is just an advert.

There is a picture on the architects website that shows, that the walls do have internal insulation.

But there is stillvery rough exterior concrete, which will look brand-new for at least until it has rained 10 times.

Bin immer wieder überrascht, wenn Leute das nicht verstehen.
Dabei ist Schraube=Moped, Käsefondue=Moped oder Stuhl=Moped doch absolut naheliegend.

Na super. Jetzt zieht meine vor ~30 Jahren gebildete Meinung “Das esse ich nie wieder, wer mag denn bitteschön so eine ekelhafte Sache” nicht mehr, weil ich’s sowieso wegen Neslte boykottieren würde?

Ich bin irgendwie enttäuscht.

Ja, so eine Brandprobe wäre es hier wohl gewesen… Laut anderer Berichterstattung irgendwo, soll das angeblich sogar abtropfender Kunststoff gewesen sein. Die armen Leute echt.

Es ist doch egal, wie oft man kontrolliert wird. Von der eigenen Verantwortung wird man dadurch nicht entbunden.

Ob jetzt ganz konkret erkannt worden wäre, dass die verwendete Dämmung nicht zulässig war, würde ich auch in Frage stellen, wenn es da nicht eine Kennzeichnungspflicht im eingebauten Zustand gibt. Die kenn ich aus dem Deutschen so nicht, kA was die Schweizer da machen.

Habe Brandschutzabnahmen kurz vor Fertigstellung von Baumaßnahmen als in anderer Funktion Anwesender mal mitbekommen. Da wurde einmal auch durch die Kreisbehörde festgestellt, dass brennbare Materialien schon vor 40 Jahren (und erneut bei der Umbaumaßnahme) und abweichend von den Planunterlagen über Brandwände hinweggeführt worden waren.

Gerade beim Umbau von Altbauten findet man auch häufig fehlende oder hundsmiserable Abschottungen zwischen Brandabschnitten. Da schlummert also noch ein großes Gefahrenpotential im Baubestand, wenn die Brandwand im Altenheim oberhalb der Unterdecke plötzlich große Löcher hat, oder solche Späße.

Aber ich glaube bei regelmäßigen Begehungen liegt der Fokus eher bei den Fluchtwegen, BMA, usw…

Dann MUSS unbedingt nachgelegt werden. Am Besten auch noch deftiger als im Original. Sicher ist sicher.

Ernste Frage: ist damit schonmal wirklich eine Felge verbogen?

Ich weiß, zum Anschließen sind die Dinger doof.
Ich hab seit diesem Jahr ein Alltagsrad mit Scheibenbremse, das passt auch nicht in diese klassischen Fahrradständer rein, ohne potentiell die dünne Scheibe zu verbiegen (das geht ja wirklich fix).

Aber vorher hab ich ~30 Jahre lang fast ausschließlich solche klassischen Fahrradständer genutzt, einfach weil es sonst nichts gab. Verbogen ist dabei nie was und ich kenne auch niemanden, dem schonmal eine Felge verbogen ist.
Bin ich damit jetzt die Ausnahme oder die Regel?
