I made a whole bunch of it, filled the jar in my drawer, filled and gave a jar to my MIL, and still have a tiny bit leftover on the pantry shelf.

Spice rack reveal. Let’s goooo.

On my previous post that I made before the cleanup, in the comments I posted links from Amazon where I bought the jars and clear spice racks that fit in drawers. They are sold separately, but affordable and makes your kitchen look fancy. 😊

I had just got done making my taco seasoning recipe just before going to H-E-B to buy these, and it calls for a pinch of cinnamon. When I saw them I was like OMG. Needless to say, I haven’t used them yet, but next time I make taco seasoning I’ll be able to! I’ve seen some other recipes that say a dash of this or a pinch of that, but never actually knew how much it truly wanted.

Good to know, I will have to try that. 👍🏻

Yeah, you know it depends. Do I need a tad of white powder or a smidgen? It varies from day to day.

I’m not a fan of the ring holding them together as it seems to slow me down to take it apart, but I do have a magnetic set as well that comes with a leveler. I do love that set a lot.
That is so cool. Also a very creative spice rack. 🤌🏻
I do lots of baking, and that was the first time I ever had to use it. I also had the same thought as you.
Well said, better than I could’ve. Thank you. 😊
Often enough where I go by the same rule. If it’s in my drawer I use them. If it’s not seen in my drawer, either I don’t use it or haven’t come across a recipe that calls for something I don’t have. I actually make up my own taco seasoning with other seasonings pictured in my drawer + cornstarch. Cream of tartar is very new to me as well, I used it in a recipe for Chocolate Snickerdoodle Cookies.
Very nice. 3D printing comes so handy when it’s things you need for storage around the house. Don’t have to buy it because you can just print it! My husband 3D printed me a lipstick holder, the design gives it a stacked look and all the individual squares that held the lipsticks fit them like a glove.
Love the portable spice briefcase. That’s really thoughtful to have so you can bring your partner joy and happiness through your cooking or baking. 🥰
Ooo, I’ll have to try that next time I make chicken ramen. Thanks for the idea.
25½ inches left to right, 18 inches top to bottom.
I posted the links to the drawer inserts and spice jars so you too can have a spice drawer like mine 🫵🏻
I keep all the seasonings and spices in the drawer, but we have oil bottles that spray or pour and keep those on the counter near the oven.
They are all alphabetized so I can find them faster. I usually use most of the spices before expiration so I don’t have to worry too much, but the ones I buy in bulk I try to do a monthly expiry check for all things on the pantry rack or what’s in the drawer. I do refresh even if I have some left in the jar. The freeze dried chives I use for homemade ranch dressing as they are, I haven’t really used them in anything else yet.
I put the blame on my tism, but I’m very anal about measurements when baking. I have found my baking to be better when I weigh out cups to grams, as its been said everywhere to be more accurate than measuring cups. I have several different sets of measuring cups and glasses. I love the glass Pyrex ones, they come in a 1 cup, 2 cup and 4 cup. When cooking I’m not so anal if there’s a little extra seasoning than what the recipe calls for, as cooking can be a little more loose than baking. But I love doing both. My dream is to have my own bakery one day.
