Once you read the books you’ll understand how shit the movie was 😂 A lot of it has to do with the difficulty of translating the characters’ thought processes from written word to video.

You can forgive her and feel compassion for her for being misled and confused, but not allow speech that violates your own ethics in your own home. Bonus - no more resentment on your end, which is healthier for you, personally, regardless of what she chooses to do with her own life.

I can technically swim, but I can’t open my eyes under water, so it’s not safe to attempt swimming. Now I’m just grossed out by the ick in lakes and swimming pools, and I can’t handle the heat anymore either, so I’ll probably never swim again
