There’s enough fish in the sea that there’s probably a guy out there’ll that’ll be a fit if you try hard enough to look, but if I were a bettin man I’d wager they are considerably few in number. How you act during sex also matters, whether a false act or not. Basically, I doubt many men would be fine with a “dead fish.”

I don’t mind it, unless it is just really shit rice (Taco Bell’s rice comes to mind,) but overall I do see it as more of a filler and I’d be perfectly happy without it being in a burrito.

Monster Hunter: Wilds is on sale right now on the Playstation store. 30% off. I’ve been a fan of the series since the first, back on PS2, and have bought many titles in the franchise. While I pretty much couldn’t care less about the story (which mainline MH has never been known for, anyways,) in every other sense, the game has been delivering for me. It’s been a really depressing few weeks. I bought the game last Sunday and it’s been one of the few things that has gotten me to smile.

I’d live, but it’d suck even more.

I have no real hope that humanity will sufficiently deal with the on-coming climate crisis. At this point, I just want to be assured that humanity is collectively fucked. I want to know that even the rich bastards who can afford high-tech bunkers that can generate enough power to last a lifetime are still going to be fucked anyways due to the severity of things. There is the purpose a tool was meant for, and then there is the purpose people will actually use the tool for.

What immediately came to my mind was the phrase, “A key that opens a lot of locks is a good key, a lock that is opened by a lot of keys is a shitty lock.” And generally, that’s something you’re a lot more likely to bump into than rape, which is a much more uncomfortable to talk about for a lot of people and so it’s almost never going to be brought up. Combine that with some rape cases that get swept under the rug with phrases like, “boys will be boys,” “she was asking for it,” or even something as outright cruel as “it’s the only way she’d get laid anyways,” and yeah, where OP is coming from isn’t too hard to understand.

At some point years ago, I moved off Chrome and switched to Edge. I don’t remember why. I think it was because ublock would no longer work with Chrome. Or maybe it was Firefox I was on, and Chrome was throttling Youtube when accessed through Firefox, so I started using Edge and just swapped. Or maybe both. I don’t really recall. But Edge works perfectly fine for what I need it to do. With how heavy Google has tilted into advertising, data tracking, and enshitifying themselves, I low-key resent them and just won’t use Chrome unless I have to. Firefox with ublock for phone, Edge with ublock for PC.

Part of me wants to believe Diddlin Don wants to push this through ASAP so he can claim he did something “worthwhile” before he gets slammed with Epstein file controversy, but the cynic in me believes those files have already been fucked with and altered beyond actual use.

I’d like for Ukraine to reject this deal but we’ll see what Zelensky does, I guess.

Huh. I had previously joked about UAE buying up Ubi, but it’s Tencent. Huh. Bet they’ll put out a bigger China themed AC than whatever that China episode is on the market (haven’t played it, know nothing about it, never got into AC.)

I played long after most of the bugs were fixed, just a bit before 2.0 and Phantom Liberty came out (I’ve yet to get it, but, eventually it will happen.) On PS5 so everything ran pretty well. I loved the game a lot, and generally speaking, I have little to complain about. I would have liked more side quests and for the ones that exist to be more fleshed out than some background via texts. And I’m saying that after having gone around and completing every odd job/side quest/gig.

But my only real gripe is after having played through the story a couple times, it becomes really tedious to get through enough of the story to open up all of Night City again when starting up a new play through. I wish there were a way to accelerate that so I can just drop in and play with a new game and a new playstyle without having to sit through all the long dialogues and car chit chats.

Looked this up. Can’t believe Record of Lodoss War got a game in 2021. I remember watching the 1990 anime on Toonami’s online-only list of anime at the time, along with Harlock Saga. Both old school AF.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the snacks. I like this shift away from artificial ingredients. But my fucking god, I hate the marketing trend of pretending like a goddamm snack food is some sorta fucking vibe/mood/lifestyle/movement. I wish nothing but the worst on the people who think this shit up.

I have a list of Metroidvanias I’ve started but never completed. The only one that managed to hold my attention to completion that wasn’t an actual Metroid title was Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Which is a shame, because Ori and The Blind Forest is beautiful and Hollowknight is very cute, but neither could really hold my attention.

And yet, for being so painfully unreliable, especially with the ruling parties flip-flopping back and forth so much, USA aid is still sought after. 🙄
