They are also one of the few, next to tigers, land predators that actually have a taste for human blood. The nature of a polar bear thinks it can eat it then it will certainly try. You also absolutely cannot out run them.

Design wise maybe, but game play wise, performance wise, mechanic wise.

PalWorld is 100% not lazy in these categories and Pokemon is.

My issue with people taking on PalWorld as a copy cat is it’s really a shit argument. PalWorld is a copy cat of Ark and a much better version of Ark.

Change Pals to anything else. Turn the ball into a net and it isn’t a Pokemon copy cat.

As someone who also owns the original I am absolutely having a blast with the new one.

Oblivion Remastered is fucking awesome though. Blown away it manages to maintain what makes it fun, quirky, and bad and add new fun, quirky, and bad aspects to itself. It has genuinely been a blast to the past as someone who is now an adult that started playing Elder Scrolls as a teen.

I would love to see Morrowind next. Hate all you want Bethesda absolutely picked the perfect Elder Scrolls game to remaster.

Oblivion is hugely over saturated. The game feels perfect for that in some areas and like a kids story book in others.

The people commenting the generic “now it’s brown and dull” are just lame. Its just hating to hate really.

Personally, Oblivion is 10x than skyrim even if the game looked like fucking Morrowind I would play it. It is like people on Lemmy have to purposefully hate on something popular so they feel different than the “Normies.”

The game could use a graphical overhaul and the bloom and over saturation hurt my damn eyes in a recent play through. So please tone it down and make it feel more realistic.

Also, lol, the image for comparison is just subjective bullshit bias. It purposefully makes a comparison to make the remaster feel boring. People were all over this style when Skyrim released.

Much like my opinion people don’t have to agree and if you like the way Oblivion looks now versus the graphical overhaul in the leaked screenshot well then the good news is you can still play the original Oblivion. I know, complete shocker.

The point I am trying to make is that Lemmy sometimes feels like the “I am not like other girls” version of Reddit. You guys hate shit just as much as Reddit but in a weirder “I am different so my opinion is better.” Reminds me of a post I saw on here where some guy raved for 4 paragraphs about why he didn’t think the new Deadpool was funny but that his opinion wasn’t like others that didn’t like the new Deadpool because his was more refined and over all carried sophistication I’m his criticism. Just now seeing your comment. I was using Nobara my monitors just freeze as in become completely unresponsive and it was entirely random. And there was a keyboard combo that was designed to fix it and that didn’t work then the community’s answer was, “we don’t know.”

To me the Linux systems are great but the community acts as if people shouldnjust switch without a second thought then get rally together when someone says, “I am having issues and don’t understand.” The Linux community then almost always proceeds to say, “did you try Googling it?” What would the person even know to Google if they don’t even know entirely what they are facing and when Linux issues get involved you are deep diving into Terminal and bash commands and most people barely understand how a Driver in Windows works or how to uninstall it. Then the response from the sake community is, “well clearly your the issue.” Its just odd to sell something the community won’t really assist with but then get offended when someone doesn’t want to switch.

I just tried using Linux as my main Gaming OS desktop probably about a month and half ago after using it for college for 5 years.

I love Linux but for NVIDIA drivers and gaming it still very much isn’t there.
