I never said we did, we’re not known to be good at English, now krauts on the other hand are falsely known to speak English very well, they don’t, they speak like they have a potatoe stuck deep down their throats.

I don’t have a typically Spanish accent, it’s more of a valley accent mixed with British English intonation. The closest thing would be the transatlantic accent, like all non native speakers’ English it’s a blend of different variants, with vocabulary from British, American and Aussie English.

They change on pace, sometimes they are slower and increasingly faster.

These things happen when everyone is around, that’s why I know I’m not imagining it

I’ve lived in an old house all my life, I’m used to wood shifting noises. The ones happening in this one tho are not it, the knocking happened in a very specific way, just when we said “let’s go to sleep” after a long night chat at 2am. And just when we’re going to sleep the knocking started, when my friend jokingly talked at it asking it to stop it actually stopped for a few seconds… And then it started even stronger. And tonight it was a very strong noise of something falling or being thrown, it wasn’t even the sound of wood, it was the sound of something falling against the concrete floor. We checked for anything and nothing had fallen.

The way these things have happened here don’t seem like just shifting wood. It’s something that you need to be there to actually understand why we think it’s paranormal. Three of the people living in this house are doctors, we’re not superstitious people, but this is making us at least doubt. The way the balcony’s door opened by itself from the inside (you can’t open it from outside), moving furniture noises. And it’s not like this things happen when we’re alone, they happen while we’re together so we know we’re not imagining it.

Omg I wasn’t aware that Americans say it differently. I would call those “festivities”

You’re not forced to pay for any of that tho, I’d think only gigachuds would actually pay for a Reddit flair 💀

Since forever? Everyone irl knows Twitter, that’s where all the celebrities are commenting their opinions and it’s where all the controversies used to start. Why would you think Reddit is at that level?

How does Reddit get money from people tho?

Oh forgot about that creep owning Twitter, yeah now my post seems really pointless

Maybe not an unpopular opinion on Lemmy, but it is unpopular to say so irl because of the bad reputation of Reddit

I’ve been to the UK and there’s British people that also breed dogs… It’s not an American thing. I also don’t think the love of dogs is something specific to the UK, people love dogs all over the west 😭
I like Vampires because they’re hot, not because they’re a monster. I think that’s why you might not like most vampire media, because it’s catering to a public that finds them hot and appealing.
Why are y’all so eager to jump onto conclusions. It’s like you can only think on black and white, when I say these are symptoms that HRT can cause I’m not saying that YOU’LL 100% GET THEM TOO. My God in Christ, people on the internet and being so picky about wording.
Edit: Sorry if I’m being rude but my goodness, this is not the first time trans spaces on the internet are always misinterpreting what I’m saying. This doesn’t happen to me irl with anyone.
Idk but most trans women don’t seem to get it because according to all of the trans women I talked to they act like I’m talking about something really foreign.
Depends on the country
Cis women get dismissed a lot more by doctors than anyone else… I feel like you’re downplaying how many women die of medical malpractice because doctors dismiss women’s pains.
They actually have done studies in trans women an they fall on the same percentage as cis men to be unlikely to develop these autoinmune diseases because it’s easier to inherit them when you have two X chromosomes instead of 1. So yeah, trans women have a similar rate of Sjogren as cis men. If I end up having it it’d be a massive coïncidence
She was young tho, 30 years max
