Oh, I misunderstood. When you said screen only, I was thinking an all-in-one, but sounds like you were meaning something more like a tablet.

You can get a mini computer and mount it to the VESA mounting point on the rear of a compatible monitor. Not quite screen only, but pretty close and has roughly the same footprint aside from a little extra cabling.
just2look@lemmy.zipto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's the worst change made in a movie adaptation of a book?16·9 days agoThe book is wonderfully written, and actually fairly insightful from a disaster preparedness and policy standpoint. It’s been a while since a read it so forgive me if the details aren’t exactly correct. Its written from the viewpoint of a journalist traveling the world post zombie apocalypse. He is collecting stories from survivors of various major events that happened during the zombie outbreak. Each chapter details a different event conveyed by a different witness, so it’s not a cohesive single plot story. More like working notes of someone preparing to write a history of a major global disaster. It highlights some of the mistakes made and lessons learned as events unfolded.

just2look@lemmy.zipto Dungeons and Dragons - Memes and Comics@lemmy.world•I WILL NOT TAKE IT ANYMORE3·11 days agoOh it definitely isn’t. Its a very modern purpose built rope that has no business being in DND. Its just the heaviest rope that I would have easy access to.
just2look@lemmy.zipto Dungeons and Dragons - Memes and Comics@lemmy.world•I WILL NOT TAKE IT ANYMORE6·11 days agoMaybe ancient dragons? It was like a 15,000lb test rope.
just2look@lemmy.zipto Dungeons and Dragons - Memes and Comics@lemmy.world•I WILL NOT TAKE IT ANYMORE10·11 days agoMakes me want to weigh the tow rope I used to use for off road recoveries. I don’t think it was 10 lbs, and I can’t imagine needing heavier duty rope for much of anything in DND.
It’s a letter called a thorn. Its from old English, and was used for the ‘th’ sound. Its been largely removed from the languages that used to use it. I dunno why they have decided to try to bring it back, but that’s what the letter is.
just2look@lemmy.zipto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What should be the ONE universal controller layout that everyone would agree on?5·19 days agoThose might get mistaken for directional buttons. I had the same thought. Maybe I triangle with the point in the direction of the button, but you may run into the same issue.
I think to avoid that, it might be easiest to just show the four button layout with the correct button highlighted.
just2look@lemmy.zipto Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•Thinking of switching my gaming desktop to linux. Should I?English91·1 month agoThere are a ton of distros that work well for gaming. I am currently running CachyOS. It was easy to get set up, runs smoothly, and I’ve been happy with it so far.
I don’t think vegetable is a botanical term. So fruit and vegetable aren’t really mutually exclusive.
And how much do you want to bet he will be backed and supported by the DNC during his ‘independent’ campaign?
just2look@lemmy.zipto Apple@lemmy.zip•Apple’s thirsty F1 movie notification is going over as well as you’d expect it to be5·2 months agoUsing Apple Wallet notifications to push ads is pretty bad. That certainly isn’t why people enable those notifications. I think thirsty is a weird way to describe it, but it definitely looks desperate.
just2look@lemmy.zipto movies@piefed.social•Titan A.E. came out 25 years ago, and history has been kind to the infamous flop that killed Fox Animation Studios7·3 months agoWill forever enjoy this movie. Don’t need a bigger plot tie in. Don’t need more complexity. It did what the plot needed. I enjoyed the characters, the villain was a simple bad guy. It was fun for what it was and that’s all I need. It wasn’t cookie cutter and I appreciate that.

The mRNA vaccine has a shockingly low rate of side effects or adverse reactions. Nearly all of the negatives were less severe versions of symptoms and impacts from COVID. So even if you were impacted by a negative side effect it was likely you were still better off vaccinated than not.
Banning it has nothing to do with the reality, and everythinf to do with their ignorant and dangerous beliefs.
