I’ve grown more suspicious of mass protests over the last few years because the majority are liberal shows. When a friend told me about this one, I had a look at the sponsors like Christy Walton and “Patriotic Millionaires” and decided that this was likely a controlled opposition. Seeing others opinions here affirms that belief easily.

I will say that a protest like this doesn’t have to be perfect, they can be opportunities to teach people. Just don’t be surprised if “peace police” throw you to the wolves if you step out of line.

I personally choose credit unions as they seem to give back to the community more. I also generally hate larger banks and hear more horror stories about them than CU’s but that’s anecdotal.

Granted, what a CU gives back is frankly a pittance I’ll take it over nothing I suppose.
