I nerd about… Hmm… I quite enjoy learning to use Linux, teaching myself Esperanto, writing letters in Slowly… Gardening and then cooking or storing what I have grown, like stashing potatoes in cellar or making juices and jams and then canning those. Picking berries and mushrooms… Maybe those count too. And of course I do watch birds, both just through the windows with our cat but I also go hiking with binoculars. I collect some physical media, store my own music collection in MP3 form, play some games on PS3…

Right now I’m into crosswords and sudokus, bought me few magazines to play with while distro-hopping or just correcting my own mistakes.

Polite reminder that it is possible to change the search engines your browser uses. I recommend Mozilla Firefox with No AI DuckDuckGo. I want to write down tips, because this was not so easy for me the first time I did it…

So anyone can do this by following these steps;

1. Click the three vertical stripes and go to “Settings”
2. Click “Search”
3. Scroll until you see “Additional search engines”
4. Click the “+ Add search engine”
5. Write down a name and add this link (without 25) in the URL bar = https://noai.duckduckgo.com/?q=%25s
6. Add the engine
7. Go back up to “Default search engine” and change it to the one you just created
8. Enjoy slightly better internet (optional)
