Downvoting does both things. I know the downvotes happen for “unwanted” gender stuff happens and that sucks. Both things can be true at the same time and there is no single solution that will make everyone happy.

It doesn’t do it directly. Downvotes promote self-moderation. Posts getting downvoted disincentivizes someone from posting another thing that might get downvoted. When you take downvotes away, people are less inclined to self-moderate and it shifts the burden to a mod.
Well, regardless of how you might feel about the just you’re doing, as a frequent user I think you’re doing great. Moderation of any platform is a thankless job. It’s a lot like politics where the people that want moderation power probably aren’t the ones that should have it.
Downvotes. I think they should be on. I know brigading is def a problem. But on the other hand, not having downvotes enabled forces users to rely on reporting everything to a mod instead of letting the downvotes do their job.
The costs and donation stuff. That’s a lot of personal investment without much in return. Once I’m employed again I’d love to help out somehow.
Good luck on the UI stuff. I been on Voyager app on IOS since it launched so I have no opinions.
Keep up the good work amigo!
I remember this as well and I posted about it either here or the r/ and got downvoted all to shit over it. Gaslighting that it never happened. He said something about being a transition pres, bringing people back together and would hand o er the reins or some shit. I voted for him and he got his 4 years. Now the old Warhawk has lots of potential conflicts to get us mired in and doesn’t want to give up the chair.
Top tier unpopular opinion. Good stuff. 10 paragraphs of hating on the muppets.
It costs too much to be out and be social. There is no place for people to congregate that doesn’t require you to spend money. Even churches have $ expectations. In most places the local public library is the last free third space. I know everyone seems to love remote work, but for me remote work forced the place of my biggest stress to be in my house and I hate it. I’ve been mostly remote for the last 13 years and I’ve realized that I need an onsite work place so I can maintain my home as my place of relaxation and escape.
And I’ll reveal how much I don’t care what a rapist wants to do.
For the morning? Maybe. Definitely not for the day though.
Some days I forget I’m on the internet and then I read some shit like this. I woke up 20 minutes ago and that’s already enough internet for me today.
Can it fly on beer and hotdish?
It’s running pretty decent now since that lastest couple patches. But I haven’t pushed a city up past 60k population yet. I’m still a bit sore they didn’t implement bicycles. Should have been baked in at launch.
I read a reviewer that said “It’s a beautiful game about space exploration that has no space exploration” and they were completely right. It’s just fallout in space. Who thought Quick Travel the game would be compelling space exploration
Yeah agreed. Everything is very subjective to the end user. I’m one of those folks who watches a movie once and then probably will never watch it again. Purchasing physical media movie doesn’t meet my specific consumption model.
Games are often problematic for my turbo-ADHD brain. Most games I play for less than a couple hours before I quit playing never to launch it again. It’s rare that I click with a game long enough to “get my money’s worth”. Notable exceptions are city builders and factory optimization games. Those I can invest hundreds of hours into.
For me, the Xbox pc game pass has saved me sooooo much money. I can try lots of games with a guilt free wallet without acquiring games through alternative free methods.
Like I specifically said I’m not advocating for prices to increase.
By and large, I actually kinda agree. If you look at the cost per hour of entertainment you get out of a video game you like vs. other forms of media, especially something like going to a movie. But the industry won’t support higher prices yet (and I am absolutely not advocating for it). But yeah, you really can get a lot of joy for not a lot of money.
Yeah. And now look at how we’re all here bitching about this instead of planning an appetizer course for when we get hungry to eat some fattened rich fucks.
Oh yeah. It’s gotta be some over the top story arc. Like Ernest Jr’s mother was/is a circus strong-woman that met Ernest Sr in the early 80s. Ernest Jr goes on an adventure to learn all about his father, embraces the absurdity. Could
Can we talk a moment about how much John Cena should take up Jim Varney’s torch and become Earnest P Worrell Jr.?
I think the really interesting on is The Friedman Doctrine.
A whole lot of people lack critical thinking skills and only half of them vote GOP.
