Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams says he feels "ready to go" in his return from an ACL and LCL tear that cost him the majority of the 2022 season.Williams said Sunday that the "plan" is for him to be medically cleared for training camp, according to ESPN's Jeff Legwold. It's the latest positive update in the running back's recovery after head coach Sean Payton mentioned in May that he expected Williams to be ready for training camp. The 23-year-old suffered the season-ending knee injury in Week 4 of the 2022 campaign. Through four games, he rushed for 204 yards and averaged 4.3 yards per carry.Drafted in the second round in 2021, Williams tallied 903 yards and four touchdowns on the ground in his first season.Denver signed running back Samaje Perine to a two-year contract this offseason to reinforce its backfield.
