The bodies don’t resemble them, and there are so many deadly lookalikes that you shouldn’t consume wild mushrooms unless you’re a biologist with access to spore prints and a microscope

making a decision based off of what they say would be stupid, but there’s nothing wrong with asking in the first place. somebody might do something crazy like point you towards resources you can use for safe identification yourself
