Miguel Oliveira believes that the problems that men like Marc Márquez or Fabio Quartararo are going through are due to the fact that “no rider can overcome the capacity of current motorcycles”.
I don’t think he is the first to say this. It’s a real shame, I remember a few years ago having 3 or 4 different manufacturers up front regularly. I want to see Marc and Fabio competing with Pecco and Binder.
With new prodigies like Acosta coming through, I can just see them not making an impression if something doesn’t change with the regulations.
So wouldn´t the logical solution be to turn it into a one manufacturer event? I mean, if the talent of guys like MM or FQ, who are seriously good riders, is not enough to make their bikes keep up with bikes from Ducati or KTM, what´s the solution here? If ONLY the rider should make the difference, EVERYTHING else needs to be the same, right?
