Interesting fact, Mozilla is kind of the spiritual successor of Netscape Navigator. After AOL declared they will slowly stop developing Netscape, Mozilla was founded and Firefox was based on the code of Netscape Navigator that became open source. Internal name of Netscape Navigator was Mozilla back in the 90s when it was still in development.
