If they don’t poll - Biden’s polling numbers stay the same and don’t get worse. That’s Trump logic - “if we stop testing right now, we’d have very few cases of the coronavirus”.

Yes. Democrats mocked Trump (albeit correctly) and harped incessantly on how this head-in-the-sand attitude would kill millions and was emblematic of the intolerability of the Trump presidency. Then the second they were in power, they did literally the exact thing that he said, but were actually successful at it.
