I don’t think this is click bait, it’s AP. They’re very coldly laying out the schedule for the synod and quoting those involved. I see no opinion in any part of this article.
I do agree with you though. This is all public theatre to give the appearance of change and progress. Nothing will materially change in how the Catholic church operates.
