I’d like to think many of us have learned to evaluate Jerry’s moves season-by-season rather than move-by-move, since there’s usually a series of trades/signings that make much more sense when takes as a whole.
Then I accidentally read the comments from fans, and realize there’s still a long ways to go with that belief.
Ain’t gonna happen. Best case scenario, we overspend on Chapman and end up regretting it. Most likely scenario, Urias is our opening day starter at third, we make no big splashes in either the trade market or free agency, and Stanton buys another yacht.
Mariners fans are pissed by all these trades. But, but, all I can see is more money for Ohtani.
