Hi everyone! I’ve released a new version with a couple of small fixes for anonymous users. I know it’s just little things, but in these days I’ve been working on the project’s homepage and some sort of user manual.
I realized that the settings screen has grown definitely too big and cluttered over time, so it needs a bit of restyling. Any further ideas?
Btw, I need to tell you for honesty’s sake, this app was born as an experiment in 2023 and it served its purpose very well and made me understand the limitations of KMP and the inherent difficulties of working with Lemmy. But in my 2024 schedule there are other ideas/technologies to experiment with, since I am the single maintainer and failed to create a proper “community” around this project, well… It’s a sort of “darwinism” in open source ecosystems, there are other more apt app out there and it’s fair to leave the field to them.
I haven’t decided anything yet, but for transparency I owed you telling the truth.
Yes, but it won’t be a big loss in any case, there are great apps which work even better and are equally feature rich so, at least, I will not have remorse of conscience towards you users 🤣🤣🤣 let’s see what happens in these weeks anyway, I am going to offer support and fix things as usual for now don’t worry!
