I installed this app and I was shocked to notice that a uninstall+reinstall didn’t erase any custom data. It didn’t ask me to login to my Google account or storage permission, how could it keep the app data after uninstall+reinstall?

But there’s nothing on the internal storage that can be related to that app

When you say internal storage, do you mean the user accessible storage? Or the /data directory? The /data directory is not normally user accessible, but it is where apps store stuff. Those folders may not get wiped when you uninstall the app.

When you uninstall an app its relative android/data directory will be deleted by the system.

My phone is rooted (so I can explore it) and I never encountered an app that leaves data in /data after deletion.

It might leave data in Android/media of the user does tick the checkbox to leave application data, but it’s not the case of this app
