Yey!! Finally! Let’s see if we can do something about the Linux client
Ditto. I thought I’d finally found a good OneDrive replacement for my meager needs.
Do you have a working GUI OneDrive Linux client?
Unfortunately, no. I just have it bookmarked in Firefox and just do it the old fashioned way. 😆
“You want Linux support? Fork it yourself”
In all seriousness this is great for end users and devs alike, another reason I like the Proton suite of tools
The ol go fork urself, classic
There are very few companies where I feel the subscription fee I’m paying is really, really, worth it.
Proton is one of them.

Really hope this leads to a proper Linux client soon. If mega can do it I have high hopes for proton.
Any idea how to be notified of such release were to happen? Not sure who is “mega”.
Edit: don’t onow how but I misread the message entirely, so disregard
Not sure who is “mega”
Gosh, I feel so old now
Ah now I recall
Another cloud service provider. I’ve been hoping to switch away from them for the past year or so since proton drive is included with my proton subscription.
I thought for a sec mega would implement drive for linux for proton. I remember the cloud service now, misread your comment
Get a Proton account, you can then sign up for, or disable, various email notifications.
Does this mean the RClone integration can be improved?
It feels a little hacky right now, and as I previously learned when I last recommended it does not do things like image thumbnails which turns people away.
I like this company more and more every day. Right now I have my own NAS, otherwise I would use their drive, but I already use their email and their VPN.
But are they libre software?
GPL3 fwiw
Nice.
Hmmm…My current
drive
solution is not open source.I’ll be looking into this. Very cool. Thanks!
The funny thing is I just installed the Proton Pass deb on my laptop in the middle of English class. Don’t have much experience with it, but from what little experience I have, it is fine enough for me since I don’t need anything super fancy.
I pinky-promise, I’ll switch to proton from Google. Just maybe next month?
you mean they weren’t already?
