I moved to a smaller city (around 90k people) and there is no scene for FGC titles. I recently started hosting some casual setups for Street Fighter and Guilty Gear off the back of my local smash scene. I have had a lot of interested people stop by and take a look and mess around and a couple interested smashers, but I haven’t had basically anyone show up beyond one time. I’m posting flyers and have a social media presence including discord and Facebook and I’m working with the local university the best I can.

I’m in it for the long run and am committed to showing up, but I was wondering what your experiences were like.
