I haven’t played a CoD campaign since Ghosts, but apparently they’ve got hacking and lockpicking minigames now? And stealth sections with “press X to punch guy out” gameplay, and open-world missions with, uh, fast-travelling :huh:
AAA games really are going through a process of carcinization, it’s just all becoming the same “action game with light RPG elements”. Genres? Never heard of 'em, the only difference you’re getting is if it’s 1st person or 3rd person.
I’m excited for the yearly one gaming stream of Hasan’s that I will watch eventually. He manages to make these otherwise repetitive and dull games that haven’t really been innovated upon in… 15 years now?.. somewhat interesting by playing his conservative character and sometimes pointing out the insane propaganda these corporations smash into games targeted at teens/young adults (prime propaganda targets)
