Generally speaking ive found that a good probing question is to ask them about their opinion on tech. Generally speaking conservative but not an asshole dont care one way or another, conservative asshole will start verbally blowing Musk and/or techbros, and progressives/uncaring will go on a psychotic rant about how much they hate modern tech trends and how they want to kill Musk for being stupid.
