    The NHS system isnt really all its cracked up to be, our average wages are like 20k-30k and that doesnt cover private + you really do get given 2 years waiting for stuff you arent about to die over, and then if you are dying you will be waiting for 8 hours in the ambulance que.

    I get muricas shit too but at least there they treat you then give you a bill lol

        Yeah its not because it is a socialized system, its because it has been slowly been getting privatesed by sucsessive labour/tory govs thru rounds of cuts and austeriety. The tactic is called ‘starve the beast’ (book by the same title goes into it in more detail) where they underfund it and then also use the controlled media to demonize it, creating public opinion against it.

      That’s not quite right. In America we often don’t treat our illnesses because we can’t afford it. Waiting a long time is much better than no help at all. If you’re poor working class you’re expected to just “walk it off”.
