Mostly just wondering if I’ve set it up wrong lol
i hope is a bug. the hide button should tell the lemmy instance that i have read the post, so not show it again.
Looks like it is a bug: https://github.com/laurencedawson/sync-for-lemmy/issues/60, but there doesn’t seem to be a solution.
on the next beta it will work better https://github.com/laurencedawson/sync-for-lemmy/issues/60#issuecomment-1677083662
Oo that’s good, gets a bit tiresome after a while!
not complaining, i know this is still a beta
Feature. When Sync hides posts, the IDs are only stored locally and so you lose them when you restart the app
This is actually great for me. I hated how cluttered my “hidden posts” were in other apps. I personally like the idea of hiding posts in the moment and resetting when refreshing.
I love it too for “hide read” but I’d rather posts that were manually hidden stay hidden.
Ok, yeah, that would be pretty amazing as a distinction. Posts manually hidden stay hidden unless unhidden and posts already read just kept temporarily out of the way. Where do we submit such specific feedback? Someone mentioned a GitHub to me. Is there a GitHub for Sync for Lemmy?
Aw :(
