I was just reading posts on there a few minutes ago and it is now banned. That sub was pretty much just educational, this shit is getting ridiculous.

    Posting my old but relevant comment here for visibility:

    It is naive to belive you can get any traction and spread on your controversial posts without some form of vote manipulating in the beginning. An ex. The Ukrainian neo-nazis are already in closed discord groups with «early-warning» systems that have autosearch on Reddit etc. with tags for words like «Azov», «mariupol», «Ukraine» to notify about new posts and manipulate them in their favor trough comments and voting.Any vaguely negative NATO critique will be downvoted and hidden before it can organically grow.

      Reactionaries always play dirty, both online and IRL. Botting, obscure funding, identity concealment, astroturfing, sockpuppeting as leftist factions, psyops… we can’t compete just by playing fairly, fascists shit all over civility and get their way because of that. If we don’t use harder information warfare tactics we’ll always have the lower hand. They already call us Chinese or Russian bots, might as well own it.
