Why it won’t happen? Because things change slowly. It would absolutely be better than a lot of teachers, maybe even better than the majority. Just because there are a few great teachers is not actually an argument against AI.

The same way a few good drivers, that can break faster and with more control without ABS, do not mean that we should not immediately implement ABS.

Definitely! Change will be slow and people adapt. People also require a tremendous amount of human engagement

It depends on what is really the teachers function and relationship with students.

Are students (and teachers) only parroting some knowledge? It will be enough with ai, or book, vídeo or whatever source of information.

But i think ai can not teach or boost thinking and doing in creative ways, nor teach values.

And that is supossed to be a teachers’s job. Allways there will be somebody doing it, even if she or he is not called teacher.

I find with teaching that part of the teaching is content but a lot is about relationships and life skills. AI can’t do that

Shouldn’t be replacing but making everyone’s life easier. Don’t blame ai. AI is a tool. If we can regulate it and remove the profits from going to 1%. That’s the point

Definitely agree here. At first, I was extremely fearful of it, but now that I’m using it regularly, it’s become clear how useful it is as a tool, and not threatening as a replacement. At least not right away with existing structures as they are

AI is a tool. Like anything else. It’s the people that use it that are to be scared off.

Same as factories improving their tooling. Computers put people out of jobs. CEOs made a killing. Workers worked harder and got paid less.

It’s not the tools it’s the 1% sucking up profits.
