Thunder shut down Mitchell but the rest of the Cavs, lead by Garland, Allen and Mobley, won the game even without a big contribution in point from the All Star point guard. A game to be seen!

For a moment this felt like a Ty Jerome revenge game from being traded from the Thunder. He came out and couldn’t miss for a while.

30 lead changes, to me, makes it seem like these two teams are matched up really well.

Cavs are way better than anyone expected this year. Both teams still have plenty to prove when playoffs come around though, regular season doesn’t mean that much in the NBA

I totally agree with the first two sentences, while RS is still important as it is the base on which po success can be build

Yeah fair, it’s definitely still very important. I may just be coping as a Knicks fan but I also expect their three point shooting to normalize by the end of the season. They’re shooting 40.5% from three as a team. Look at these three point percentages compared to their career averages.

        • Mitchell - Career 36.9% > This season 41.0%
        • Garland - 38.9% > 42.9%
        • LeVert - 34.7% > 44.5%
        • Mobley - 30.3% > 40.4%
        • Okoro - 35.7% > 47.6%

On the other hand, Strus, Merrill, and Niang are pretty close or below their career averages. Maybe they’re just moving the ball so well that they’re getting great looks, but my intuition is that the threes will stop dropping at some point this season.

Definitely a really fun team and story to watch as a neutral, but unfortunately I can’t quite enjoy it because they’re standing in the way of the Knicks making it out of the East this year.

I unfortunately missed this game. Were the Cavs simply just too big (Allen+Mobley) for OKC?

If you can, watch a replay, after all it was a really enjoyable game; OKC, as cbs writes, can shut down the opponent’s best player, but that leaves the other in good position to score, expecially three - and both Cavs bigs and shooters executed
