ard.de (German national TV) is a wild mix of EU and US
polish national TV is proudly EU
and swedish government is even more mixed

Nope, not useful at all. Any large enough site it gonna use cloudflare or another proxy/cache/CDN, so that sites results are completely useless.
I use the Firefox extension FlagFox to see where websites are hosted.
The company I work for is American. We have European data centers. Vice versa I have multiple friends who have worked at a French company that has data centers here in the United States.
