Hey everyone,
I recently moved my PC, and now I’m not getting any display output. Everything else seems to be running fine – all fans are spinning, and there are no obvious signs of damage. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: • GPU troubleshooting: Tried my GPU in different PCIe slots, but no change. • CMOS reset: Cleared CMOS twice. • RAM troubleshooting: Tested both of my RAM sticks (Ballistix Sport LT DDR4, 8GB each) one at a time in every slot, still no display. • Cable check: Looked around for any loose cables, everything seems properly connected. • Monitor & cable test: Tried different monitors and different cables, so that’s not the issue. • Motherboard LED: There’s an orange light on the top right of my ASUS ROG Strix X299-E Gaming motherboard, which I believe indicates a RAM issue. However, I find it hard to believe that both RAM sticks or all RAM slots are faulty, especially since there’s no visible damage.
At this point, I’m a bit stuck. Could this be a CPU seating issue? Or does anyone have other suggestions before I start replacing parts? Appreciate any help!
