So the weird thing about these “progressives” is how they came out of absolutely nowhere. You would expect a leftist politician to have some sort of longstanding history with the broader leftist movement in America. With the exception of Bernie Sanders, whose been in politics and preaching his weird brand of milquetoast social democracy for decades, none of these people had one. AOC ran for congress right of college. Obama had had some ill-defined role as a “community organizer.” Rashida Tlaid, Ilian Omar, and Ayanna Pressley were staffers for Democratic politicians. And despite the fact that nobody on the left had heard of them, and they had no access to any existing leftist networks in America, we were all supposed to get behind them and show support, or else we we somehow betraying “the movement.” That may or may not be evidence of an op, but it’s certainly very fishy.
