I’ve just started Return to the Obra Dinn, so far really liking the art style and the main game mechanics. I’m interested to see how the story unfolds as it seems to be taking a “memento” style reverse chronological approach to telling it.
Also still playing Halls of Torment as ever since Vampire Survivors, one of these top down roguelite shoot-em-up games has been in my rotation.
Oh and I nearly forgot, also started pizza tower, but only dipped my toe into that one so far. Really enjoy the art and platforming mechanics so far.
Sea of Stars. Fantastic game!
There’s a point after a bit of trouble where the best character is being inspiring, and Yasunori Mitsuda music is playing in the background. It’s so fucking good!
Oooh! This one’s been sat in my library for a little while now, the art style looks fantastic, so good to know the music is up to scratch too! I reckon I’ll be giving this a go one evening this week
Started playing Dorfromantik after I got the boardgame. I am really enjoying the slow pace and relaxing atmosphere ^^.
A relaxing city builder, eh? I’m interested! Popped it on my wishlist
Hades! Returned to it after a two year break, still having as much of a blast as I did back then :)
Oh no, I only just put it down a couple of months ago. I guess that might be making a reappearance this week
Continue working through Big Ambitions. Fun business sim made by the person who made Startup Company.
Oh no, this looks right up my street. Be honest, how much time have you sunk into this?
170 hours
And the game is still actively being developed.
Say no more, I’ve heard everything I need to know
Bought and completed (100% S-Rank Hana) Lunistice in 2 hours last Thursday. I will not refund btw. The game was immensely enjoyable and I fully intend to go through with the other characters.
I have Halls of Torment ready to go now.
Well this looks fantastic, love the PS1 art style and it happens to be on sale today… (though pretty cheap even if it wasn’t)
Enjoy halls of Torment, so far it seems like there’s a bit more depth in the metagame than vampire survivors
Axiom Verge. Finally got into it after a bunch of false starts over the years. And wow I’m glad I did.
Once you get to like the 25% mark it really picks up. The movement upgrades are some of the best I’ve seen in a metroidvania, and I was excited everytime I found a new power up cuz i had absolutely no idea what to expect.
Plus it’s got a built in randomizer. Hell yeah
I loved that one. One of the few games I played through multiple times.
Well that looks right up my street, wishlisted it on Steam off the back of this!
If you like metroidvanias it’s a must have.

I recently finished a game (Your Spider) and looking for the next one that I’m in the mood for. But I wanted to give a mention to The Upturned. A cartoonish horror-comedy game with a great sense of humor.
Your Spider looks mad! I’ll definitely be giving that one a go in the future.
Just looked at the upturned too, looks pretty fun, so another one for the wishlist!
Tried giving starfield a try and got bored in 45 minutes. Idk guess Im just getting too old for video games (24)
AAA games are generally rubbish these days—that’s why I’m on indie games these days!
