btw China has quadrupled its green energy production since 2008
Literally our one hope at saving this planet. China is the only power on earth I think could pull off en mass carbon sequestration on a level great enough to save the ecosystem from global warming.
China 9 years ahead of schedule on meeting its Paris agreement climate change goals.
unlike the west, china actually does what it says.

No but they can forge ties with other nations and help them follow suit. Just like how the US leads other countries to kill environmental protections I have hope China can do the opposite.
Especially with all it’s infrastructural work in Africa. Rolling out smart grids with wind and solar power would be effective in Africa. It’s positive on top of positive. As Bastani argues in Fully Automated Luxury Communism, providing energy to Africa would bring an immediate and massive improvement to public health in many places. Even through simple stuff like being able to turn electric lights on at night will reduce nighttime accidents, crime rates, and improve health outcomes e.g. during pregnancy, as giving birth is otherwise extra dangerous in the dark at night.
China refuses to develop hydropower in it’s desert regions
China is weaponizing wind, water and even the sun against US-backed energy firms
🤣🤣
when will the brutality end 😢
China: “That sure sounds like challenge”
Proceeds to genocide desert
I don’t see “nuclear” anywhere
Nuclear is not renewable so don’t belong on this map.
I mean it’s green but it still wouldn’t make sense to designate specific “nuclear” areas, because you can place a nuclear power plant practically anywhere short of a desert
I’m absolutely not qualified to say much about this, but I did hear that China is working on liquid salt cooling, which apparently makes it feasible to put nuclear reactors in the desert.
it isn’t renewable?
Green yes (well mostly, has significant caveats worth considering).
Renewable no. Ore, such as uranium or plutonium, is finite and will not regenerate in a reasonable timespan. Usually requires supernovae by particularly dense stars to produce heavy metals like this.
Could the used ore be stored in Hollywood for a bit to speed up the process?
Why does it say that India has coastal tide/wave potential? Am I reading that right
I think they wanted to put it on the right hand side, on the east china seas, but run out of space lol
