Sadly I decided to watch 28 Weeks Later, the sequel to a much better and deserving film. Its cheap, with a higher budget, its predictable. Watch 28 Days Later, and 28 Months Later. This is american trash.

it was ok zombie slop of the late 2000’s, it doesnt give much to say or think about except to show action scenes of people fighting the infected, people probably have a better view of it back then because it came out before everyone was making zombie movies, shows, games, books, etc.

I hated Doyle’s death scene. He runs out to confront zombies and die while the young people literally stare at the whole event, the young women/girls cry intensely after. Sure 10 year old me would eat that shit up. But god in 2025 I want less white dude military super heroes.

Yeah 28 Weeks Later is a mess. The opening sequence at the farmhouse is the best part, it was directed by Danny Boyle. The rest of the movie is lousy and directed by Fresndilo, who had directed one movie prior to 28 Weeks Later.

Watch 28 Days Later, and 28 Months Later.

Do you mean 28 Years later?

Indeed I did, watched 28 years later on Friday just gone. Yea the opening really sets out for something great, then instant whiplash. Now if this was a TV series using the IP I wouldn’t care as much but its not and it drags down both the first and third movie.
