Also just the douvet covers or bed sheets , and are perfect summer alternatives.
You can get cooling blankets. I have one and it’s great, apart from the fact that it’s super slick and sometimes slides off the bed.

It’s miserable. I need the blanket to get to sleep, but the blanket will make me wake up eventually, all sweaty and blurgh.
Even a blanket isnt much armor against some critters. They like the warmth better than you do
