I upvoted it, the state really shouldnt be executing the working class; that should only fall on the billionare class that are transparently fucking all of us, but even post-revolution I wouldnt trust the state with the power to execute the common people.

I live in a country that doesn’t have it but I don’t see downsides if the crimes committed are way too bad.

So you think the state should have the power to decide who gets to live or die? Really? Also not to mention Justice is many times wrong and its not uncommon for people to be wrongly convicted.
