Which app can I use for the mobile bahn card (train germany)? It looks like a qr code but isn’t a regular one (with the three squares). Their website has a button with which I can add it to google wallet. I have no google wallet. Is there a foss wallet?

I use catima for “loyalty cards” but it can’t read the bahn qr code and “fosswallet” is (strangely?) for apple wallet files.

    There is probably no “Google-free” app for GoogleWallet passes:

    So in my understanding the pass always goes through Google APIs directly into Google Wallet. The JWT itself does not contain the data needed to show a ticket. Feel free to prove me wrong!

    Unfortunately, you are absolutely right. It is not possible to store GW passes because the information itself is stored on Google’s servers and the JWT is sent directly to the GW. Who would have thought that Apple would one day be better for the open source community than Google? I have amended my last PR (not the typo) accordingly.

    However, you can save the QR-Code as an image (if it doesn’t automatically change with time) and use an app like Catima to build your own pass.
