    Yeah my family and i are all indigenous, we just spent the weekend at an traditional funeral that went for 5 days.

    Every person there wanted to voice to go through.

    But there was this rhetoric that indigenous people didn’t want it.

    I dont know a single one who was anti the voice, only numerous white people who kept saying that all us indigenous people didnt want it.

      I don’t think anyone legitimately thought that indigenous people didn’t want it to pass… It was just a valid sounding excuse to justify the racism of people who planned to vote “no”.
