I’ve never been to OKC but I do work homeless services, so I decided to check out what things are like down there.
It looks like mostly just congregate overnight and winter shelters, largely run by religious orgs? No wonder people might choose to risk the streets. It’s hard to get someone into a shelter and then out into housing when you don’t even offer them space to store their belongings.
