That’s called third-wave ska, also called ska punk.

It wasn’t the end of ska because arguably there’s been a fourth wave since then

Yes, I’m a huge fan of the third wave. In my opinion, the song Sound System by Operation Ivy is the perfect blend. Is it punk? Yes! Is it ska? Also yes!
