Sorry for the short notice, but I will be performing some server maintenance at 10:30 CST tonight.
I am going to switch to the next plan up (6 CPU 4 GB RAM) and take a snapshot of the VM while i’m at it. I’m hoping it shouldn’t take too long.
I plan on doing a longer “State of the Instance” post soon, just to update everyone with how we’re doing with donations, etc.

Any potential to do what mstn.ca did and get help with some finding from CIRA?
maybe? they have a much higher user count than here, (+34K i think?), and there could be other issues as well, but I suppose it’s something worth looking in to.
I think that would be most ideal. They may also be able to help with governance and non-profit stuff. They’re a pretty good organization and open decentralized internet is right up their alley.

Liberapay doesn’t take a cut, does the payment processing fee from Stripe get taken from the donation amount before getting sent to you? I’m assuming yes, just want to make sure.
pretty sure Stripe takes a fee of some sort. i’m new to taking donations too.
Off a CA$36.40 donation they took CA$1.36. Not the worst rate.
