The latest version of English football’s 'New Deal' includes a rise in the Premier League's transfer levy to help fund the agreement and a £20m 'lifeboat fund' for lower league clubs which fall into administration, Sky News learns.

100m out of 8b annual revenue is mere scraps. Would that the EFL fans in the early 90s had had the success of the opposition to the European Super League.
