There’s this Dutch artist Sophie Straat who has been in the news recently for asking all white men to go stand in the back at her show for one song and white men online are absolutely seething lmao
Why did she ask for that though?
Provocative activism basically. It’s to make room in the front for queer people, women and other marginalized groups attending. It’s for the opportunity for a mosh pit for said people.
