    It reflects how Bungie, as a studio, has made no less than 2 completely iconic game franchises. Yet they still have to sell themselves to publishers to stay afloat. Something is wrong there.

      Past sales don’t pay today’s bills. I suppose they could rehash Halo every other year like Call of Duty, but I don’t think anyone would like that.

        Destiny 2 was free-to-play. It lived off the Eververse and seasonal pass sales. Those haven’t gone away in-game.

    It reflects Bungie not making any money because Pete Parsons needed more cars and because they made a game no one wants to play.
