How about compensation for all his other victims over the years, too, and the ones he facilitated for his bestie.

The idea sprang to mind immediately of sending a single square of used toilet paper delivered to Trump with no note or context. Probably why I’m not fit to lead a country.

    Bahahahaahahaaahhaha

This will be the catalyst for invading Greenland eventually and the whole military will be on board with it. 😂

Europe better fucking nut up, shit’s about to get hot soon. Hopefully they learned from Iran and start making dumb missiles ASAP

Europe is going to respond to an invasion of Greenland… by writing a strongly worded letter. Remember, you’ve heard it here first!

No part of that article talks about Greenland. What evidence am I supposed to be looking at?

That aside, given the EU’s absolutely horrendous track record when it comes to standing up for anything, I have zero faith that any EU country would try to retake US-held territory via marine invasion. It’s just not gonna happen.

It’s a survey about what people in some countries in the eu want. Lots of stuff. Not a single question explicitly about Greenland. But evidence that can lead to more informed opinions (eg countries who wouldn’t mind sending troops to Ukraine now which isn’t an eu country).

I know it’s a lot of work making inferences from data where you can’t just ctrl f a word and get an answer.

But the overall picture isn’t that citizens of the eu are feeling passive and just going to write letters. And I know that wasn’t a question either. Tricky is this thing called evidence.

And this was just one survey of many that exist.

First, what EU citizens want isn’t the deciding factor here; EU leadership won’t get into a hot war with America their constituents be damned. Second, tell me which parts of that article you think support your conclusion and how. I can’t respond to an argument you only made in your head. “EU citizens don’t like America and want to be independent from it” does not lead to “EU citizens would support a hot war with America over Greenland” which does not lead to “EU leadership will get into a hot war with America over Greenland.” Third, I’m getting tired of your condescension and won’t respond again if you keep talking like this.

European or non European nations don’t have to get into a hot war with the US to affect and sway outcomes, it simply has to announce plans to call in debts, sell bonds, stop buying bonds, replace the dollar as a trade/international currency, recall any stored gold in the US treasury, implement trade agreements with nations outside the us while announcing embargoes on US goods, tariff necessary goods from the US to force their nationals to find alternatives or reduce use.

That would throw the US into a full blown depression and would reduce capabilities to manufacture weapons and goods for general public use so hard the US would be forced to capitulate to demands for withdrawal from any NATO nation.

Any economic damage taken by America would be at least matched in Europe, so EU leadership (and citizens) would have to be willing to throw their own economies into a depression to do the same to the US, assuming it’s even possible to do so. That aside, I doubt even that scenario would stop Trump and co.

Europe should just accept the debt, then kick out all big tech and say “we will keep the money in Europe and pay you back when we’re ready”. Fuck em’.
