Redgifs doesn’t seem to show a thumbnail in lemmy, and imgur is dead. What do you recommend?

So catbox.moe works great! Only for files under 200mb though.

  +1 to this. They lower the size of the video, but you still get to upload it. It shows as if it’s native, not a link.
