Ah I get it, thanks for explaining. And sorry for my misunderstanding. I have thought the mods of /r/startrek have created kind of “official substitute” on Lemmy.

They did create an official substitute. It’s a whole separate instance at startrek.webpage. r/startrek, r/daystrom and r/risa have set up parallel communities there. I just created a lemmy account in the server too!

I’m getting errors trying to reach https://startrek.website/c/startrek However I was able to successfully search for and join the community at !startrek@startrek.website from my own instance.
