What happened with the latex packages recently? was it a redactor?
If you look at the announcement, it’s just trying to follow what upstream does…
I am trying cachy-os. Everything with the latex packages went sideways. If you are having problems too, try texlive-full from AUR. Thogh, I also switched to typst from Latex, Latex is still widely used by scientific packages.
Yup, just discovered that yesterday when I saw it was gone.
Yup, suddenly
latexmkwas missing from my system recently. Installing that fixed it
